365 images for 365 days: Day 53

Yesterday  I left the house with the idea of sightseeing around London, and I decided to visit finally The National Gallery. I spent five hours delighting and filling me of art, enjoying all pieces.
I saw paintings of my favourite painter, Joseph M. William Turner; and I can die in peace after seeing The Rokeby Venus by Velázquez. But there were two paintings that struck me much: The Ambassadors by Holbein, and The Execution of Lady Jane Grey by Delaroche. Both are enormous, so further startle. The first one with a relaxing and static atmosphere, whereas in the second one, the tension of the moment is palpable. I don´t want to go into artistic details (sorry), but if you want more information, the Internet is full of websites which explain it :P
Well, I roll it up a lot. After a cultural morning-afternoon, came the evening partying, almost by accident. After dinner, we ended up at  O'Neill's, in Soho, as usual, and it was time which pubs become in discos, and at last, what happens happens, we danced.
But the best was yet to come, because there was music in live. A mature rockers versioned some of the best songs of all time. From Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams, to Rolling of the Deep by Adele. And it happens that belted out  I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers, is priceless.

La foto la hice durante el concierto. Besos y abrazos.
I took the photo during the concert. xoxo
