Desde que vivo en tierras británicas, me asalta el deseo de trasladarme un par de siglos atrás y convertirme en un personaje de las novelas de Jane Austen. Me pasa a menudo que voy andando por la calle tatareando la banda sonora de la película Orgullo y Prejuicio, mientras el aire frío me hiela la cara y van cayendo las hojas a mi alrededor.
Los paisajes de por aquí, no son realmente espectaculares, porque siempre hay casas y edificios de por medio (o antenas de televisión, jeje), pero también hay enormes extensiones de bosque dentro de las zonas habitadas o residenciales.
Me encantaría pasar una temporada viviendo en una zona más rural y salvaje. Pero creo que eso lo dejaré para cuando me aventure a vivir en Escocia :D
De momento, la niebla siempre me hace sentirme un poco más en contacto con los personajes románticos de Austen...
Since I live in Britain soil, the desire assails to move a couple of centuries ago and become a character of Jane Austen's novels. It often happens I walk down the street humming the soundtrack of the film Pride and Prejudice, while cold air chills my face and the leaves are falling around me.
The landscape around here, is not really spectacular, because always there are houses or buildings through (or TV antennas, jeje), but there are huge tracts of forest within residential areas, as well.
I´d love spend a time living in a more rural area and wild. But I think I'll leave that for when I venture to live in Scotland :D
At the moment, the fog always makes me feel in touch with the romantic characters of Austen...
